Knitting etc.

I finished another hat--this time for myself--and am now moving on to the next Dream Project: a blanket. I've found that plastic knitting needles are, how shall I say, miserable to work with, and that I spend more time fighting the material of the needles to get through even a third of the row. So! I'm sticking with the aluminum kind until such time as I can invest in other materials. Yes, my projects will have to be smaller-scaled, but I'd rather a smaller scale than nothing happening at all.
Husband and I are still working on helping kiddo to finish potty training. We're looking forward to having fewer sheets and ancillary laundry to wash... it just feels like we're still in the thick of it and the final hurdle is too far to see. Intellectually, I'm aware that kiddo will be fine, but emotionally I'm--
I'm trying really hard not to give into feeling like it'll never get better. Well. That's what therapy is for.
I'm also still working on getting my writing organized, and getting fanfiction downloaded/organized.
