Finished up another knit square for the blanket I'm in the process of making. Slowly working on a hat for the husband.

Husband and I are continuing to work on keeping up with communication with each other.

We bought kiddo four pairs of wool socks for the snow, as well as age-appropriate Halloween books (It's Pumpkin Day, Mouse! and Happy Halloween, Little Critter, for those who are wondering).

We made our first pumpkin pie of the season.

I am maintaining calling Friend on Saturday nights.

Things are going.

Today was actually a tolerable Monday! I had time to work on a few projects and activities.

1) Finished up another stripe on the scarf project. I only have about... 19 inches left to knit toward, and I'm trying not to get antsy to be done: antsy = sloppy, and I don't want this to be sloppy.

2) Slowly, slowly connecting previously-written scenes with new material for "Your Hearts, And Mine"'s last chapter. I am... scared out of my ever-loving mind that it won't meet readers' expectations--or mine, in all honesty. ...Which probably explains why it's taking me so long to move forward with it all.

2a) Considering whether or not I should post fic to dreamwidth? Does anybody still do that?

3) Husband and I are watching the Fruits Basket 2019 reboot anime. It's much more atmospheric and dramatic than the 2001 anime adaptation (which played up the slapstick humor considerably). I miss watching the art evolution that the manga provided, and it feels weird to see the characters in the artist's finishing style, instead of watching them grow and change visually along with their character development (confession: I never finished reading the manga because I lost touch with the friend who was lending it out).

3a) Ugh, I could go on for almost forever about the visual language and communication provided in comics and animation.

4) Husband and I are also making hard (for us) choices about kiddo's toys/clothes that are developmentally behind kiddo/don't fit kiddo anymore.
