"I Want My Two Hours Back!"

Husband and I have gotten kiddo involved in having dinner with us, rather than an early kiddo-centric dinner and getting kiddo to bed so we can eat our own dinner. It's been really awesome to see what kind of food kiddo enjoys (rice, beef, sometimes broccoli and other vegetables), but it's also resulted in the loss of two hours of "non-parent mode". This has caused husband and I to stay up later than we used to, due to still needing quiet time to decompress. (Shrugs) It's all just part of balancing life as a parent and as a person.
In other news, I've been trying new recipes: penuche, or brown sugar fudge, which has been an absolute and utter disaster the first and second times I've tried making it, and key lime pie, which actually turned out very well, but a little too small in volume for my liking.
So far, we've been doing well. Husband is working from home full-time due to current events; we've been staying in except for necessary outings (pharmacy/grocery runs, walks, and tax paperwork delivery).
