So the general practitioner has informed me to rule out carbohydrates, drink more water, and do more exercise in order to improve my health. "Make time," he says.
All I can really do right now is cut back, rather than eliminate carbohydrates, so I'm aiming more for being aware of what I'm eating, rather than having a knee-jerk reaction of "oh I'm hungry so I'm going to eat a bread."
I'm adding small changes to my morning exercise routine, rather than completely overhauling it.
Including more water is... a little tricky, considering that one of our cats thinks it's open season on people water even though there's plenty at his level. "That's not for you! Stop it, that's disgusting!" I have said to him on more than one instance of him taking advantage of my turned back and full cup. Life with cats, eh?
Small changes, small changes, make for better overall health, la la la.
There are also a lot of new, little constants that are taking their toll on my time and energy, and I'm quite ready for them to finish up.
